Trauma awareness event:  Save the date!

Anger workshops at The Market Place

The Market Place is offering a new online Anger Workshop for 11-17s – find out more about anger as well as different coping strategies and techniques to take away! Delivered on zoom lasting 40 mins. Night OWLS crisis helpline

Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) are excited to announce our new helpline service,  Night OWLS is for children, young people, and their parents/carers who live in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. Night OWLS is for ALL families, including those with children and young people who are Looked After, adopted or with any additional needs.

We offer emotional support and mental health crisis support, a space to talk, and someone who will listen with warmth, empathy and acceptance. We’re here for you if you feel you have nowhere to turn, are finding it hard to cope, are feeling unsafe, lonely, anxious, or angry, are caring for a young person, or simply want to talk. We can also let you know about further support in your area if you’d like us to. Please tell us about any communication needs you have, and where possible we will adapt our practice.

Teen Connect out of hours support for 11-18 year olds

Teen Connect is here for you! We offer emotional support and mental health crisis support, a space to talk, and someone who will listen with warmth, empathy and acceptance. Teen Connect is part of the organisation Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service (LSLCS)– this means that we all have our own personal experiences of managing difficulties. We are a small, friendly team, and people talk to us about a wide range of topics – a call with us really can be about anything. From sadness, anger, fear, friendships, family, grief, loneliness, pain, self-harm, suicidal thoughts or feelings, any difficulties, frustrations, worries, and so much more. Please tell us about any communication needs you have, and where possible we will adapt our practice. We are available to ALL young people in Leeds, BD4, BD11, WF3, WF10 who are aged 11-18.Teen Connect supports parents/carers of young people too.
