Podcast #13: EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) can be used to treat young people and adults who have experienced bad, sad, horrible events. These events can feel overwhelming, shocking or distressing and impact on your daily life often getting in the way of things you want to do. EMDR can help you to sort out the bad memories so you can feel better and can move forward, when the time is right for you and you feel safe enough to do this. This podcast focuses on a young person’s experience of EMDR and the view of a nurse who offers EMDR as treatment to young people.
